Meaning of Waterproof Ratings
Waterproof rating is a measure of how water proof the Led Batten Light er. This is based on Ingress Protection (IP) code which was developed by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). IP code is a two digit number that gives overall protection to the Led Batten Light against solid particle and water intrusion.
The first number (dustproof rating) indicates the device's protection against solid objects (such as dust, sand).
0: No protection.
1: Protection against solid objects larger than 50mm.
2: Protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm.
3: Protection against solid objects larger than 2.5mm.
4: Protection against solid objects larger than 1mm.

Installation Methods for LED Waterproof Batten Lights
Two installation methods:Surface Mount and Suspend install. (Please select the most suitable installation method according to your requirement).
Surface Mounted LED waterproof battens
Trin 1 :Open the clips and take off the diffuser.
Trin 2 :Rotate both fixed knobs on gear tray and disconnect connector on control gear & Earth wire connector (if has),separate gear tray from luminaire bracket.
Trin 3 :Drill holes on the ceiling in the corresponding positions according to fix distance of luminaire bracket,insert M6 wall plugs into the holes,then secure the installation buckles to the ceiling with the provided M4 screws.
Trin 4 :Pull the power cable into the luminaire bracket from cable entry hole through Gland,then fix the luminaire bracket onto the installation buckles.
Trin 5 :Connect the power cable to terminal block according to right wires sequence.
Trin 6 :Suspend the gear tray with the slings which prefixed ,connect the earth wire connectors back（if has）and insert female connector into male connector on control gear.
Trin 7 :Install the gear tray to luminaire bracket,rotate the fixed knobs to fix gear tray,then install the diffuser back,fasten the clips.
Suspend Mount（Hanging Installation）LED waterproof battens
Trin 1 :Separate the diffuser and gear tray from the luminaire bracket,refer to the Step 1,2 of Surface Mount.
Trin 2 :Drill 6mm holes on the ceiling in the corresponding positions according to disc holes position of hanging rope,insert M6 wall plugs into the holes,then fix hanging rope disc to ceiling with the provided M4 screws.
Trin 3 :Secure the installation buckles onto hanging rope with provided M4 flat screws.
Trin 4 :Pull the power cable into the luminaire bracket from cable entry hole,then install the luminaire bracket onto the buckles.
