What exactly makes an LED Oyster Light different from a standard downlight?
So whats the main difference between an Oyster Light and a run-of-the-mill downlight? Its all about how its put in and how far the light reaches. Unlike downlights that need to be recessed into the ceiling and cutting holes, Oyster Lights just clip on - which is perfect for concrete ceilings or places where you can't get to the ceiling to cut. And because theyre a wide, flat design they cast light a lot further out than a standard downlight - which means less shadows in bigger rooms.
What distinguishes the LED Oyster Light from similar-looking fixtures like Bulkheads/Bunkers?
The key difference between an Oyster Light and a Bulkhead or Bunker is the sort of lighting and mounting style.
